Selection Process of Assam Police Recruitment:
In this section, we will explain about the selection process of Assam Police Constable Recruitment. Candidates submitting correct online applications in all respect will have to undergo the Physical Standard Tests (PST) and Physical Efficiency Tests (PET). Any Candidate with any physical deformity as may be detected by the Medical Officer present in the Selection Committee, he/ she will be debarred from participating in the rest of the tests.
Written Test :
After completion of the PET, the shortlisted Applicants will be called for the Written Test in order of merit at the rate of 5 (five) times the number of posts allotted in respect of each category based on the total marks scored in PET (for Constable-AB, PET marks will be converted into percentage.
Written test will consist of 100 multiple choice type questions to be answered on an OMR answer sheet. For each correct answer the Candidate will get half mark. Questions will be of the level of class IX and X .Total marks for the Written Test will be 50. There will be no negative marking. The question paper for Written Exam will be in the following languages: Assamese/ Bodo/ Bengali/English.
